It doesn’t get much better than watching the sunset over the West Coast Mountains from an alpine camp deep in the wilderness. Not many other cities offer such natural beauty right on the doorstep. This is a great introduction to backcountry camping, and perfect for those looking to learn some new outdoor skills.
We will design the perfect guided camping adventure to suit your group. Location will be chosen based on the size of the group, fitness level and what you'd like to achieve. Our Vancouver camping adventure is aimed at anyone with a relatively good level of fitness, regardless of age and hiking ability. You will be required to carry a large backpack containing a tent, sleeping bag and other camping supplies. Sleeping equipment such as Sleeping bags and mats can be rented from us.
All food is included while on the hike (two lunches, one dinner, one breakfast), and is provided by Nomad Nutrition. The meals will be prepared by your guide and we can cater to all dietary requirements - please let us know before the trip date.

Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee that we will stick to this plan. Weather conditions and the health of participants can all contribute to changes. The trip leader/guide will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but an easy going nature will be an asset!
Camping accomodation is provided while on the trek.
Our tents are supplied by MSR and are lightweight and weatherproof. They are very roomy to give you the most comfortable camping experience. We can provide either 1, 2 or 3 man options, depending on the number of people in your group.
Please bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping pad/Thermarest. If you are unable to bring your own, please contact us and we can arrange a rental.
You will be carrying a pack with your camping equipment, clothing, food, etc. For this reason, you must be comfortable with carrying a moderately heavy load for multiple days. This is mountainous terrain so expect to climb a lot of elevation, and move across loose or rocky ground.
Snow is common well into the summer in the BC mountains. There is a good chance we will be walking on patches of snow well into August. Please bring waterproof hiking boots with good grip to deal with any terrain and conditions.
You're free to request a date that works for you! Please contact us by phone or email to reserve your trip.
