Outdoor Rock Climbing Movement Skills: Boost your climbing efficiency and fun with a day focused on gaining confidence in technique specific to outdoor climbs, Squamish style. Designed specifically to help you streamline your granite climbing progression. Ideal for those with some indoor climbing experience or with time climbing in other areas and rock types.

Crack climbing - We break down the specifics of climbing cracks of all sizes with efficiency and good footwork. From finger to fist size cracks we will give you the tools to progress faster and start crack climbing confidently.


Slab climbing - With a focus on the details we remove the mystery of granite slab climbing with instruction on good footwork, body position & balance, stemming, and reading sequences to flow up climbs with confidence.

Itinerary

  • Meet your guide in Squamish (Location and time arranged after booking)
  • Safety talk
  • Hike a short distance to the climbing wall
  • Gear up with harness and helmet
  • Try out some Squamish classics
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon of rock climbing and tuition
  • Hike back out and debrief

Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee that we will stick to this plan. Weather conditions and the health of participants can all contribute to changes. The trip leader/guide will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but an easy going nature will be an asset!

Transportation can be arranged from Vancouver or Whistler. Please contact us to discuss.


Please bring sunscreen and sun glasses, comfortable clothing, waterproofs and warm layers, gym shoes or running shoes.


If you have your own rock climbing shoes, harness, helmet etc. feel free to bring them.
